Kailin and Brady’s Discovery Park engagement was such a dreamy session. The love, the light, the homemade bouquet and Kailin’s stunning dresses all topped my list of favorite things. Oh, and love letters. Because, who doesn’t love love letters? From the second we started shooting, Kailin and Brady just melted into each other and the rest of the world fell away. These are the moments I love the most. The moments when I am no longer there. It’s just him and her and nothing else even matters. I’m so grateful to have clients that are uninhibited, raw and totally connected. Kailin and Brady, you made my job so easy and wonderful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Discovery Park is my ideal location for Seattle engagements. It offers a variety of lovely natural backdrops. Kailin and Brady opted to have their Discovery Park engagement session close to the water. We had cloud coverage that day but it created a great filter with beautiful light. I also like this spot because there is a section of wild grass growing near the lighthouse. It offers a whole new look while remaining close to Puget Sound. I loved Kailin and Brady’s outfit choices. Their look was classy and romantic. The softer color palette complimented the scenery beautifully. They wanted to add a couple of accessories to their session. Kailin made a simple bouquet and they brought a neutral color blanket for snuggly pictures. I think both are great ideas for couples looking to add a little something extra to their photos.
