The Headlands are pretty magical. The varied trails and breathtaking ocean views make it one of my favorite spots. I loved getting to wrap up the end of my 2017 wedding season in this gorgeous area. I met up with Cesca and Theo on a chilly afternoon in late October. These loves embraced the cold and the fog during their Marin Headlands engagement session. The cooler temperatures made for snuggly photos and the wind paired perfectly with Cesca’s flowing dress. I always welcome a little wind during a session. I love the movement it creates with hair and fabric.
A few weeks before our shoot Cesca emailed me asking if there was anything they should bring to the session. A few of my favorite engagement accessories include flowers, a blanket and love notes. Towards the end of our session, Cesca and Theo exchanged anniversary cards and it was such a lovely way to wrap our time together. These loves have been together for years and I can’t wait to celebrate them alongside their friends and family in August. I know their California wedding is going to be beautiful.
I would be remiss if I didn’t point out that one of my favorite wedding venues in the Marin Headlands is the Center for the Arts. This place has my heart. If you are planning a wedding there in 2018 I would LOVE to connect with you here.
