When I decided to make a trip back to California the first thing I did was call up my sweet friend and incredible wedding planner, Satra, from Events by Satra, to discuss doing a styled shoot, and voila two days later we had everything planned. The hardest part was having to wait a month until I would actually be in town. I am so in love with this styled Kohl Mansion wedding. It was the perfect venue to bring our vision of an elegant chateau-themed wedding to life. The Lovely Bride in San Francisco provided us with the most stunning wedding gown and all of the gorgeous jewelry pieces from Margaret Elizabeth were the perfect compliment to the dress. All of the flower arrangements designed by Natasha Kolenko were dreamy! I can’t get enough of cascading bouquets and the bouquet she designed for this shoot is one of my all time favorites. The soft blue and cream color palette with hints of gold was simple and classy and when it came to desserts, we wanted to have several mini cakes and Alison from Pretty Please Bakeshop knocked it out of the park. Her desserts are not only beautiful they are so delicious! And on the day of the shoot, I was reminded why I love California’s light. It was so good to us. I had the best time photographing this styled Kohl Mansion wedding and I can’t recommend this team of vendors more highly. I can’t wait for the opportunity to work with them again in the future.
