Gather Events reached out to me to photograph a styled Faber Farm wedding. Faber Farm is a beautiful wedding venue in Mount Vernon. I am smitten with this property. First, it has a spectacular garden, overflowing with flowers, fruit trees and vegetables. Second, there is a white barn on the property, which adds a rustic touch to this elegant space. The barn is ideal for an indoor reception and given its blank canvas there’s a lot that can be done with it. Finally, what I love most about Faber Farm is the outdoor space.
I’m spoiled by California’s wine country and its gorgeous venues. As a natural light wedding photographer, I feel that Seattle lacks outdoor venues. It’s what makes Faber Farm a real gem. This gorgeous styled Faber Farm wedding took place in autumn. I can only imagine what it is like during the summer months. What’s great about it is that couples have several different options to choose from for their outdoor ceremony. In addition, they can enjoy a farm to table dinner outside under the pergola; making it one of my favorite details from this shoot.
Outdoor receptions are one of my favorite things about California weddings. I love the natural light and the ambiance so it’s refreshing to see a Washington venue that seems to value that as well. Faber Farm has it all. Gather Events did an incredible job highlighting what couples can do with this space. I’m grateful I could be part of this amazing team!
