Wedding

A Note from the Bride

Our wedding was romantic, rustic, but also understated and simple in the best way possible. We really wanted to create the perfect laid-back dinner party for our closest friends and family. We celebrated all the things we love: warm summer evenings, amazing food, and good music. The Los Altos History Museum was the perfect fit. We wanted an outdoor wedding and if possible, an outdoor reception. We researched multiple venues around the Bay Area and Napa but nothing fit quite as perfect as LAHM.

The Los Altos History Museum was the main inspiration for our color scheme. There was a lot of greenery in this space and we decided to carry this color scheme throughout our wedding. We chose to compliment it with colors like ivory, blush and nudes. We really wanted our color scheme to become one with our venue’s garden setting. It turned out very beautiful and seamless.

Our number one priority during the wedding planning process was to enjoy it. I have to admit, at times it was very hard to enjoy when all the wedding expenses start to add up and the details never end. We both reminded each other that this special day was to celebrate us and if at the end of the day we were married, then we’ve won. This mantra kept us very calm and collected throughout the whole process and we never got hung up on one particular detail. The only thing that truly mattered was us.
