Seattle Tennis Club Wedding, Washington | M + E

Wedding

I looked forward to photographing Mya and Ed’s Seattle Tennis Club wedding all year. Their wedding along the shores of Lake Washington could not have been more beautiful. From glorious weather to spectacular views of Mount Rainier, their guests were treated to an incredible summer day in Seattle. I find that most guests attending a Seattle Tennis Club wedding are really blown away by the amazing views the PNW has to offer. The majority of Mya and Ed’s guests live out of town so it was pretty special.

We traveled from downtown Seattle to Washington Park Arboretum for wedding party portraits. The Arboretum is really a wonderful place and the shade could not have been more welcoming on this hot summer day. The neutral color palette of the bridesmaids’ dresses looked lovely in this backdrop. Bash & Bloom did an amazing job on all the floral arrangements. Mya’s bouquet is probably one of my all time favorites. The diverse tones and textures really make it stunning and paired with her wedding dress, the whole look was breathtaking.

After wrapping up at the Arboretum we headed over to the venue where the festivities really began. I always recommend that my couples take some time during their reception to step away from everyone and reconnect with one another. It’s a great time for getting in some additional portraits. The light during this time of day is usually pretty spectacular. We spent sunset down on the dock where it was quiet and peaceful. I couldn’t have pictured a better way to end the day.
