We are inching closer and closer to summer my friends and I can’t wait for those extra long evenings spent outdoors under the stars and twinkling lights, while the soft sound of music and laughter fills the air. Summers in Seattle can’t be beat! In celebration of summer, my friend Erika, over at Paper Hearts & Company put together the loveliest urban summer wedding inspiration and I was so honored to work with her and shoot this pretty little number. Let me tell you, this girl does it all…from overall design and styling to stationary and the most beautiful floral arrangements. She’s one talented lady and such a gem to work with. Our shoot took place at The Studio, a natural light photographer’s dream. Seriously, this place is so awesome. White walls, white floors, a brick accent wall and lots and lots of windows. I love the color palette: yellow, orange, pink and green and you can’t go wrong with succulents. The bride’s cascading bouquet is one of my all time favorites. We added a bit of urban elegance with a wooden table, ghost chairs and gold silverware. Pastel Cakes designed the sweetest cake and wedding favor cupcakes. I can’t imagine doing this shoot without my girl, Schona, by my side. She absolutely kills it on hair and make-up every single time. Be sure to check out our bride’s website. She’s a Seattle fashion blogger and I love her style. She and her handsome husband rocked it in front of the camera. This lovely urban summer wedding inspiration has me so excited and inspired for weddings this summer. I can’t wait to see what all of my couples have in store. Happy Friday, friends!
