I’m ringing in my favorite romantic holiday with this dreamy Valentine’s Day inspired wedding styled by the lovely ladies at Paper Hearts & Company.
“Our design concept for this shoot was to combine minimal design with lush and romantic blooms. We chose a Valentine’s Day inspired color palette of moody blues, grays, blush, pink and oxblood with brass accents. The Studio in Seattle was the perfect backdrop, a large natural light space with modern white walls, and floor and brick accents. Our table-scape was adorned with hand dyed linen napkins and table runner with brass candleholders, modern dishes in whites and gray, and a lush bouquet of blooms. Our ceremony backdrop was styled with brass candlesticks and a eucalyptus wall swag. One of our favorite moments from the shoot was our after the wedding shots. We imagine that our couple is spending time remembering their favorite moments from the day while drinking champagne. Perhaps even dreaming about what their new life as a married couple will be like. Megan Sybrant created invitations showcasing her beautiful hand lettered watercolor calligraphy with a whimsical leaf motif. Johanna of Delicately Sweet Confections created a modern cake simply wrapped with satin ribbon and adorned with blooms. Calla Bridal provided two stunning gowns. The first gown is a two piece with lace top and fitted skirt for the bottom, the intricate button up back just added the perfect romantic look. For the second one we used a blush, flowing gown which paired perfectly with our color palette creating a lot of movement for the camera and was paired with velvet oxblood pumps. Hodina Co gave us two simple rose gold bands for the bride and groom – the minimal design of these rings pulled in the modern elements we were going for.” – Hannah, Lead Wedding Planner at Paper Hearts & Company
