Autumn is my favorite time of year and it always looks so lovely in Seattle. I love all the lush colors and the brilliant shades of reds and yellows. There is a beautiful glow and on clear days the city just shines. Allison and Miles hosted a lovely rooftop celebration at Hotel Ballard. Their wedding was the perfect combination of urban elegance. They used lots of greenery and rich colors in their floral arrangements and they turned Hotel Ballard’s rooftop into a beautiful outdoor living space for their guests to enjoy.
Ballard is such a great Seattle neighborhood. It boasts wonderful restaurants and shops and was so much fun to explore with Miles and Allison. As they opted to see each other before the ceremony, we were able to really take our time walking around the neighborhood and stopping for pictures along the way. The architecture and lighting combined with the autumn colors couldn’t have been more gorgeous. As the wedding got underway, guests were treated to beautiful views of Seattle high above the city and a sunset that topped off a perfect day. A big thank you to my friend Jenna Bechtholt for letting me tag along and shoot beside her. This one was a blast!
