I love getting to work on styled shoots before the rush of the wedding season officially begins. For me and so many other creatives, these types of shoots are a great way to keep our creative energy flowing and it gives us the opportunity to partner up with some of our favorite vendors. I am still swooning over this recent citrus bridal inspiration I collaborated on with Leigh & Mitchell. I swear some of my favorite shoots involve these awesome ladies, and this one is no different.
One of the things I love most about this citrus bridal inspiration is the simplicity of it. Don’t get me wrong, I love details, but I really wanted to focus on a shoot where the details were minimal but they also made a statement. Erica from Leigh & Mitchell shared the same vision and I am in love with everything she put together. The flower arrangements are elegant but their bright pops of color were the perfect contrast against the white walls. I love how the floral colors compliment the citrus fruit and the single tier, semi-naked cake added the perfect touch to our bridal session.
