Sycamore Grove Park Engagement, Livermore | K + C

Lifestyle

Kara and Connor are one of my dear clients whose wedding plans were impacted by the pandemic. They opted to forgo their large wedding and host a lovely and intimate backyard wedding last May. While I was so heartbroken to not be able to celebrate with them, we were finally able to officially meet in person and photograph a post-wedding Sycamore Grove Park engagement session. This was my very first Sycamore Grove Park engagement and it did not disappoint. I love being back in California and getting to photograph locations that have wheat grass and oak trees. Add in golden hour and it makes for one dreamy session.

From the very start I was drawn to Kara and Connor’s warmth and easygoing nature. Like most of my couples, they shared with me that they aren’t comfortable in front of the camera but you’d never know that from looking at the images. They immediately just settled right in and were completely at ease in one another’s arms. One of Kara’s favorite things about Connor is his kindness. It was clear to me within the first few minutes of meeting them just how much they love one another. While I feel so sad for all the couples whose wedding plans were altered due to Covid, I’m so happy that I was able to document Kara and Connor and this beautiful time in their lives.
