Landmark Vineyards Wedding, Healdsburg | A + R

Wedding

Alicia and Ryan were one of many couples whose wedding plans quickly changed due to the pandemic last year. They wanted so badly to tie the knot on their original wedding date of October second at Landmark Vineyards. Through determination, perseverance and flexibility they were able to do it. Opting for a small celebration with immediate family they postponed their larger celebration until later this fall. This smaller wedding was incredibly beautiful and heartwarming. So much love surrounded this adoring couple and it was a highlight of my year getting to document it.

A week before their wedding, California’s wildfires raged out of control in the wine country and Alicia and Ryan were forced to shift their wedding location from the Landmark Vineyards to Landmark Vineyards at Hop Kiln. Just thrilled to be able to continue with their wedding plans they faced this new challenge with more grace. And just when they didn’t think they could face more adversity, the sprinklers went off right in the middle of their ceremony. Through it all they laughed and hugged and embraced every single moment. When I think back to this day I will always remember it as one of the most joyful days in a year filled with so much pain. I’m so incredibly grateful to get to work with couples like Alicia and Ryan.
