One of the highlights from last year’s wedding season was getting to work with Crystal and Jonathan. I felt an immediate bond with Crystal during our initial phone call and absolutely loved getting to work alongside her and Jonathan for their City Hall wedding in San Francisco. Their wedding day was classy, romantic and filled with so much love. They opted for a smaller affair and were surrounded by immediate family and their closest friends. I’m always drawn to these types of smaller fetes because they feel very intimate.
Portraits
One of the things I loved most about this City Hall wedding was the amount of time Crystal and Jonathan set aside to do couple’s portraits. City Hall is one of my favorite places to shoot because of its light and architecture. It’s hard to know whether or not it will be crowded so it was really wonderful having so much time set aside for portraits. We never felt rushed and were able to access all of my favorite portrait spots around City Hall. The fourth floor is a photographer’s dream location for portraits. The light in that area is always luminous!
Reception
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed great food and drinks in a private room at Quince. The atmosphere felt incredibly warm and inviting. Crystal and Jonathan, I can’t thank you enough for being so lovely to work with. I wish you nothing but love.
