Meet Catie

Hi there! I'm Catie, a natural light wedding photographer, tea drinker and house plant enthusiast. I am a lover of light and heartfelt moments. I have a knack for putting people at ease in front of the camera and an eye for capturing genuine moments. I am truly passionate about what I do and I'm there for my couples every step of the way. Some fun facts about me: I am terrified of bears but I married a man who loves to camp. I own over 50 houseplants and I'm always finding room for more. There is a soft spot in my heart for adopting senior cats. My favorite way to unwind is to read before bed. I spend almost every birthday rollerskating and I think eating cereal for dinner is totally acceptable.

More about Catie

I read, "Where the Heart Is" my sophomore year of high school and knew I wanted to be a photographer.

That book lit a fire inside me and suddenly I was seeing life through a viewfinder; seeing moments as pictures. I pursued my passion and earned a BA in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Photography from Seattle University and then returned back home to the Bay Area, where I met and fell in love with my husband, Carl. We love to dance and make up silly songs and I can count on him to make me laugh every single day. We live a quiet little life with our cat, Bert. When I’m not documenting love stories you can find me playing the violin, tap dancing or curled up on the couch with a good book. I’m a firm believer that tea fixes everything, I have a soft spot for adopting older animals, I’ve always loved being 100% Irish, and I’ve been a vegetarian for most of my life.

As a wedding photographer I have a deep commitment to the couples that trust me to capture their love story. Please know that our relationship doesn’t begin when I photograph your wedding, it begins the moment we sit down and chat for the first time. I want us to feel like old friends. For me, it isn’t just about your wedding day; it’s about creating an experience you will remember forever.
