A Sunset Bohemian Elopement at Cave B Inn

Wedding

I find myself falling more and more in love with the Pacific Northwest. When I think about the state of Washington it’s painted green. Little did I know that the eastern side of the state is arid and dry. Its vibrant desert landscape is without a doubt a thing of beauty. It’s such a stark contrast to what I’ve been seeing for the last couple of years and as we made the two hour trek from Seattle to Quincy I kept having to remind myself that I wasn’t in California. This Cave B Estate Winery wedding is going to be a life-long favorite.

The Concept

A desert wedding is something I’ve wanted to photograph for a long time. Ultimately, I thought I’d have to travel out of WA state in order to make it happen. Little did I know that everything I was looking for was just east over the Cascades. I finally got the chance to photograph a bohemian desert wedding that dreams are made of. I honestly hit the jackpot with this talented group of creatives. Our Cave B Estate Winery wedding was designed beautifully by Leigh Rice Design.

The Wedding Details

For this bohemian desert wedding, Leigh Rice Design used palms, succulents, and cacti as the base of the floral design. The bride’s cascading bouquet was filled with palm leaves and king protea. The bohemian style tablescape was ideal for guests to sit around and enjoy a meal during sunset. The mismatched colorful pillows and blankets were a fun detail.

Couple Portraits

This neutral landscape and soft lighting made it ideal for portraits and the bride’s bouquet contrasted beautifully against this backdrop. Her lace dress and gold jewelry were the perfect look for a bohemian bride.
