One of the highlights from last year’s wedding season was getting to photograph Crystal and Jonathan’s San Francisco City Hall wedding. From the moment I spoke with Crystal on our initial phone call, I knew their day would be something special. Their celebration was romantic, elegant, and filled with so much love. They chose an intimate wedding surrounded by their closest family and friends, which made the day feel incredibly meaningful.
A Meaningful Celebration with Family and Friends
Crystal and Jonathan decided on a smaller wedding ceremony at San Francisco City Hall, which gave everything a personal and heartfelt feel. I am always drawn to these kinds of weddings because they create a quiet and intimate atmosphere that puts all the focus on the couple’s love and connection. The historic setting of City Hall only added to the sense of timelessness and beauty.
San Francisco City Hall Wedding Portraits
One of my favorite parts of this wedding was how much time Crystal and Jonathan set aside for portraits. City Hall is one of my favorite places to photograph couples because of its stunning architecture and natural light. You never quite know how busy it will be on any given day, so having a generous portrait window allowed us to take our time and explore many beautiful spots within the building. The fourth floor, in particular, is always glowing with soft light and offers a perfect setting for timeless portraits.
An Intimate Reception at Quince
After the ceremony, Crystal and Jonathan hosted their reception in a private room at Quince. The atmosphere was cozy, elegant, and romantic. Guests enjoyed delicious food and drinks by candlelight, surrounded by warmth and joy. It was a perfect ending to a truly beautiful day. Crystal and Jonathan, thank you so much for being such a joy to work with. I wish you a lifetime filled with love and happiness.
