Alicia and Ryan live in San Francisco and wanted to celebrate this milestone in the city they love. Their Marina District engagement session couldn’t have been more perfect. It was my first session of the year and it was undoubtedly a real treat! For instance we had the most beautiful winter weather. The sky was lit up like cotton candy and Karl the Fog never made an appearance. As much as I love Karl, you just can’t beat that unobstructed view of the Golden Gate.
Mother Nature was really showing off that night. The colors in the sky made me feel like I was standing on the beach in Maui rather than along the SF bay. Despite the number of people that were out enjoying the weather, we managed to have this lovely spot all to ourselves. It was a little piece of heaven.
Alicia and Ryan are getting married in the wine country this fall at Landmark Vineyards. We will actually share the same wedding date! On their first day of marriage I will be celebrating my tenth year of marriage. It’s pretty special and I’m honored to share the date with them. October is my favorite month and I love spending it in the wine country. I’m really looking forward to it, but in the meanwhile, I’m going to sit back and reminisce about their Marina District engagement session.
