Harrow Cellars Wedding Photographer | Timeless Sonoma Wedding

Wedding

As a Barn at Harrow Cellars wedding photographer, I love documenting celebrations at this beautiful venue. Nestled in the heart of Sonoma wine country, the Barn is part of Cornerstone Gardens. Cornerstone is known for its open-air spaces, lush landscaping, and wine country charm. I hadn’t photographed a wedding here in several years, so when my good friend Jenna Bechtholt invited me to assist her, I was thrilled to return.

Amanda and Kyle, originally from the Pacific Northwest, now live in San Francisco. They hosted their spring wedding at the Barn at Harrow Cellars on one of the windiest days I can remember. Despite the weather, their joy and grace never faded. The classic black and white aesthetic paired with simple greenery created a timeless and elegant look.

Why You’ll Love the Barn at Harrow Cellars

The Barn at Harrow Cellars is an ideal choice for couples looking for a relaxed, elegant wine country wedding. The space is flexible and thoughtfully designed, blending rustic charm with modern touches. Whether you’re planning a small celebration or a larger gathering, this venue offers the best of both indoor comfort and outdoor views.

As a Barn at Harrow Cellars wedding photographer, I love how each wedding here feels both peaceful and elevated. From the olive trees to the lavender paths, this space has so many naturally beautiful elements to incorporate into your day.

Wedding Reception at the Barn at Harrow Cellars

The white-washed barn provided the perfect setting for both indoor and outdoor elements. Pathways lined with olive trees lead guests through the space and offer a peaceful wine country ambiance. After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed cocktails on the lawn with sweeping views of the Carneros hills.

Although the wind made an outdoor dinner a challenge, the barn offered a warm and welcoming alternative. Still, I can easily imagine a summer wedding here, with bistro lights strung above long wooden tables and a golden sunset in the background.

Golden Hour Portraits in Sonoma Wine Country

Even with the strong breeze, we stepped outside during golden hour for portraits. As always, the California light was absolutely magical. There’s a quiet path in front of the barn lined with olive trees and lavender, and it made for some of my favorite images from the day. This venue has no shortage of beautiful backdrops, especially during sunset.

Being a wedding photographer at the Barn at Harrow Cellars means I get to take advantage of all the natural beauty that Sonoma has to offer, and this wedding was no exception.
