I assisted with this intimate Atwood Ranch wedding and everything about B and A’s wedding day tugs at my heartstrings. The deep love this couple shares with one another touched everyone around them. From her dress and veil, to their vows and soft caresses, the word romantic does not even begin to describe the beauty of this day. Atwood Ranch offers stunning views of Sonoma County and has a very interesting history. It’s been growing grapes since the 1800s and several quarries adjacent to the ranch produced cobblestones for San Francisco streets.
Atwood Ranch is located in beautiful Glen Ellen, which is the home to several stunning wedding venues, but you just can’t go wrong with this location. The grounds are gorgeous. I love the mix of oak trees with the vineyards. B made such a stunning bride and she truly reflected on every single moment and enjoyed every bit of it. I really love when couples choose to have a smaller wedding party because I just love the feel of an intimate wedding. B chose two of her closest girlfriends as bridesmaids and as they reflected on childhood memories they couldn’t help but shed happy tears. B and A’s touching vows made everyone they love emotional. It was impossible not to be swept away by all of the goodness that embodied this day.
