Creative products are so much fun to shoot. They are made even better when I get to work with my sweet friend and incredible wedding planner Events by Satra. Within two days of brainstorming for this styled Kohl Mansion wedding we had everything pulled together. The hardest part was having to wait a month until we could actually shoot it. I am so in love with Kohl Mansion. It was the perfect venue to bring our vision of an elegant chateau-themed wedding to life.

The Dress

The Lovely Bride in San Francisco provided us with the most stunning wedding gown and the gorgeous jewelry pieces from Margaret Elizabeth were the perfect compliment to the dress. All of the flower arrangements designed by Golden Fields Floristry were dreamy!

The Florals

I can’t get enough of cascading bouquets and the bouquet designed for this shoot is one of my all time favorites. The soft blue and cream color palette with hints of gold was simple and classy.

The Tablescape

We truly wanted to create something elegant and I absolutely love this tables cape. We continued with our soft blue color palette and gold accents. A cascading centerpiece tied it all together.

The Dessert

We loved the idea of having several mini cakes, rather than just one large one. Pretty Please Bakeshop knocked it out of the park. Her desserts are not only beautiful they are so delicious!

The Portraits

And on the day of the shoot, I was reminded why I love California’s light. It was so good to us. We were blessed with perfect evening light, ideal for portraits.

I had the best time photographing this styled Kohl Mansion wedding and I can’t recommend this team of vendors more highly. I can’t wait for the opportunity to work with them again in the future.
