Savannah and Pete tied the knot on a gorgeous October day during their Durst Winery wedding. It was truly a classic and timeless celebration, and the perfect way to wrap up this year’s wedding season. As it was my first time photographing a wedding at Durst Winery, I was blown away by the setting. The lush gardens and Spanish-style mansion transported me to what felt like a little slice of Palm Springs. Additionally, autumn is also my favorite season, so I loved sharing my own anniversary month with this sweet couple.
Getting Ready
Savannah wore a wedding dress inspired by 1950s Hollywood glamour, and her elegant updo completed the vintage look. Pete wore a classic black tuxedo that paired perfectly with the formal vibe of the day. The bridesmaids wore floor-length black gowns, which looked stunning next to the white and green floral arrangements. The color palette added a refined and cohesive touch to the entire event.
Wedding Ceremony at Durst Winery
The outdoor ceremony space was decorated with white and green florals that felt natural and elegant. Photographing weddings is always about capturing both the big and small moments. During the ceremony, I made sure to take plenty of candid shots of the guests. There is so much love and emotion present, and it’s important to preserve those memories.
Reception Details
The reception continued the classic black, white, and green theme. Guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the lawn as the sun began to set. Meanwhile, the soft evening light created a warm and inviting atmosphere. Every detail felt thoughtful and timeless, reflecting Savannah and Pete’s style perfectly.
